Warranty Terms
If any original component is found defective in terms of workmanship within the warranty period, we will repair or replace it. The warranty period for E-Dash electric bicycles is as follows:Frame: 12 Months Electrical components: 12 Months Exclusions: This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damages caused by improper assembly, or failures resulting from an accident or inadequate or insufficient maintenance, or the installation of parts or accessories. The warranty does not apply to damages or failures due to an accident, misuse, abuse, or negligence. Modifying the frame or components will void this warranty. Coverage Details: The warranty covers the replacement of parts and the transportation of the defective part from the customer, as well as the transportation of the repaired or replaced part back to the customer. If the customer cannot or does not want to perform a repair, we will make every effort to have the repair completed at a local bike shop. We will cover the labor and parts costs charged by the workshop for this repair. This warranty does not cover any other labor or transportation charges or any other type of charge unless required by consumer law. Warranty Claims Procedure: It is hereby acknowledged that in the event of a failure that the customer believes to be a warranty claim, the customer shall not take the bicycle to a third-party bike shop for repair and request reimbursement of the cost under our warranty coverage without first informing us of the issue and obtaining our written confirmation. The customer shall properly notify us of the nature of the malfunction, provide us with a detailed report, and a quote from the bike shop (if applicable). Only after receiving our written confirmation in advance, can the customer proceed with the repair. We reserve the absolute right to refuse to reimburse the aforementioned cost or to reimburse it partially if we have not previously obtained written confirmation from us. This right will be exercised by us at our sole discretion, without any liability or obligation. Warranty Voidance: The warranty will be void if the bicycle is used for activities other than normal ones, including, among others, not following the owner's manual or using the bicycle for commercial activities or in competitive events, including, among others, bike races, bike motocross races, stunts, jumps, or similar activities, and training for such activities or events. Punctures: Punctures are not covered by the warranty. Refund: The Guarantor may request a refund for costs and expenses incurred if it is determined that the product is not defective due to faulty materials or workmanship. Limitation of Liability: The company shall not be liable for consequential, special, and incidental damages. Conditions of Use: A bicycle is a vehicle in real working conditions. It is always exposed to unintended impacts, bumps, vibrations, heat and cold, accidents, water penetration, salt splashes, etc., which may cause damage, which will not be considered a manufacturing defect and therefore are not covered by the warranty. Water Resistance: Your electric bicycle and all its components are water-resistant under normal humidity or wet conditions. Please note that your bicycle is water-resistant and not waterproof. The bicycle can be used in light or moderate rain but should not be submerged in water or used in heavy downpours. The bicycle should not be washed with a water hose and can only be cleaned with a damp cloth. The warranty does not cover part failures due to liquid penetration. Assembly and Adjustments: As part of the assembly process, it may be necessary to make some adjustments to parts, including, among others, brake and derailleur adjustments, due to possible part movements during shipping. If necessary, instructions on how to make such adjustments will be sent to the customer. The warranty does not cover incorrect bicycle assembly or adjustment of parts.
